Terms and Conditions for creating a new campaign
Here at SendMyVote.com were commited to providing you with a professional, secure and reliable petition and campaign service. Although we want your petition to reach as many people as possible, there is a requirement on us to ensure the petition is appropiate for access by the general public. All petitions will be accepted and published on SendMyVote.com providing they meet our criteria and you agree to our terms and conditions.
But in summary, we reserve the right to reject:
petitions that are similar to and/or overlap with an existing petition or petitions;
statements that don't actually request any action;
wording that is difficult to understand;
statements that amount to advertisements;
issues for which an e-petition is not the appropriate channel (for example, correspondence about a personal issue);
petitions that may be considered illegal or offensive;
statements that are inappropiate for our younger voters;
Petitions that do not follow these guidelines cannot be accepted. In these cases, you will be informed by email of the reason(s) your petition has been refused. If this happens, we will give you the option of altering and resubmitting the petition so it can be accepted.
